TRANSFORMERS @ Romanian Design Week 2017

30 outfits. 10 creators. 2 countries. 2 schools. UNArte vs artEZ.

We turned this fashion face off in a reverted experiment. The visitors take on the catwalk and strut underneath the warm neon lighting.  While walking, they meet the gaze of paper mannequins that flank the platform, equally and silently poised like a line of soldiers. Each outfit has its customized mannequin, their heads, arms and legs carefully modeled and cut in paper, glue and wire by Denis Simion. Her papier maché army hangs level with those that move along its front line.
